Appointments

Routine Appointments

The quickest way to get help from a clinician is by submitting an Online Triage Form for non-urgent/routine medical or admin requests. If you are unable to do this, our reception team will be able to complete the form on your behalf before it is looked at by our triage clinician.

Routine appointments can be made between 08:00 to 18:30 over the telephone on:

0116 273 6330 (Main Site East Park Road)

0116 268 9400 (Branch Site Doncaster Road)

or you can complete an Online Triage Form by clicking here.

When you get in touch, our reception team will ask you a few questions to identify how quickly you need an appointment, the best appointment method and the most suitable healthcare professional to help you.

Other Routine Appointments

Appointments for Annual reviews for Chronic Diseases/ Long Term Conditions such as Asthma and Diabetes, Blood tests, Smear tests, Travel vaccinations or Post natal checks will be booked into routine slots by our reception team.

Emergency Appointments

Emergency appointments are considered to be some of the following: chest pains, acute stomach pains, earaches, unexplained sudden rash i.e. allergies.

There are a specific number of emergency appointments available on the day, however due to patient safety these numbers are limited, therefore the practice will always try to offer an alternative option.

If you need more urgent help, call our practice. If our practice is closed, visit NHS 111 online or call 111. In an emergency call 999.

Home Visits

Home visits are available for those patients who are housebound or too unwell to attend the surgery. If you need to request for a home visit, we advise that a call is made before 10:00am.

Cancellations

If, before your appointment, you no longer need to see the doctor, then please ring the practice to let us know. We will then be able to offer your appointment to another patient.
