About Our Patient Participation Group (PPG)

Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) is made up of volunteer patients who have an interest in healthcare services. The group meets regularly to share ideas and work collaboratively with the practice to make a positive contribution to the services and facilities provided for patients.

Aims of the Patient Participation Group

  • To represent the views of patients by offering constructive feedback and ideas on their behalf.
  • To support improvements in the delivery and quality of healthcare services.
  • To strengthen communication between the surgery, patients, and the wider community on matters relating to health and practice services.
  • To assist in the development and shaping of new services.
  • To encourage self‑help, mutual support, and patient involvement in improving health and social care.
