All test results usually arrive electronically from the hospital laboratory to the doctors.
Patients are usually contacted by telephone or letter if there is an abnormal test result that requires further action. Please note, we request that you do not assume that a result is normal if we do not contact you, as there can be occasions when there are delays receiving certain tests.
